Galyana in Ruins
Blue-Eyed BiPedal BookWorm from Betelgeuse (aka B4[insertpunhere]) Started conversation Dec 19, 2002
Wargamer,
[OOC] [Continuity]
We've made a little head-way in our travels, away from Galyana. We have found Corellia overthrown, the first choice for assistance to counter the Black Legion laying seige to Galyana. Now we're on our own. Unless you figure we can find allies in the Blade Mountains.
Are there other major centers of population near at hand we could draw upon? Have we missed an opportunity, or has it not yet matured? If bad comes to worse, I might be able to overcome my aversion to reptiles. Who knows? There may be a way to convince a or several to aid our cause, if we have something to barter with...

Have you been reading my script, or do you just know me too well!?
My plan was that we head into the Blade Mountains, find a colony or too, use Bahamut to get them on our side and... now, you wouldn't want me to give the plot away, would you?

Wargamer,
[C]
Umm... Well, I'm getting to know you. Or it could be by process of elimination. Or it could have been that Baileywick has a bunch of electronic spy gizmos tucked away in his bag...

Well, I'm presuming you had an 'end game' in mind for this campaign; and you did mention to Aries that we're nearly there. Will we vanquish The Dark Lord here on the battlefield and regain control of Galyana, or will he slip from our adventurers' grasp in some clandestine fashion? What lies in wait in the Senate Chambers? Is that even a viable objective, and to what purpose if TDL is overseeing the battle outside the city?
Lucy! You got some 'splainin' to do...!

Any half decent evil villan likes to see his victories. Nowv that there's a WEAPON on the loose, and something else in the Senate Chamber... It looks as if Galyana may not survive the night...

Okay, it's time for you to deliver the [SETTING] for the Senate Chamber. I have no idea what awaits there, but a brief description would help Furr and the Galyani troops try to come to terms with it.

Yeah. Thanks.
Especially for resurrecting them, so I have to REALLY deal with them! Crikeys! I thought if I just used a few good magic tricks right from the get-go, we'd be done and just saunter out of there. But NO-O-O-O-O-O-O... You just gotta make it difficult. Well, here goes...

Remember you said not all adventures have a happy ending? You may be surprised at the outcome.

Oops! Jumped the gun on that last post. Please wait for it again, when the main battle has raged to a halt and all the adventurers have caught their collective breath.
Also, I am about to hand you a device for an on-going alternate story line. You will recognize its possibilities when it comes 'round...

Wargamer,
I apologize for trying to impose my own slant on the storyline. It's your venue, after all. Besides, I should have consulted you with more details on which way I wanted to see the Senate Chamber scenario played out. Since you conceived the story and its framework, I can only presume that these Four are a key piece to the resolution of the campaign. Now that they've 'come back' into the scene, what I had extrapolated is null and void.
If you would, leave me an e-mail address where I can post the MSWord.doc file of my account of the EndGame for Galyana. I'd like you to look it over and see if there's still a way to incorporate the finale into the structure of the 'world' you've generated. If not, I'll just cast it aside and play out the remainder in a different way, finding a way to bring Furr Purrfikt back into it, perhaps with more other-worldly clout of some sort. You be the judge, and let me know the limitations it should have.
In a quandry,

Wargamer, check your 'sixoftwelve' e-mail. I've left you a .doc file to look over. It's important to the storyline.

Okay, who do I get with about the storyline? You or Yar?
