So what did you do there

Thanks! It was a great time! I had planned to go to Wellington because I have a friend there who was getting married. The rest of the trip was a result of that. I figured that if I was going to the other side of the planet, I might as well make it worth it! So I decided to check out Melbourne and Sydney too. Besides, another friend in Melbourne decided to plan her wedding for the same time period, so it became the International Wedding Circuit. I was gone a month, and it wasn't nearly enough time to see all I wanted to! Gives me a good excuse to go back!

I'm already planning a return visit to New Zealand, as soon as time and finances allow!

Actually, I saw the site where "Rings" was filmed, or at least a good portion of the movies. There is a quarry just north of Wellington, going towards Masterton, where they had built the main castle and did all of the castle filming. It was kind of cool to see it. Nothing is left there now, of course, other than just the quarry.

I'm doing quite well, Cybercat! Thanks for asking! I'm still a little tired from the trip - 2 weeks after getting home and I think I'm still suffering jet lag! Or maybe it was the month of travelling and partying before that is just catching up to me...
