I get so tired of this constant bitching about the sidekicks. I dunno about either of them really. I thought Rose was quite a good character once the series got going and I'm getting used to Donna's character. I still think Martha's character wasn't quite right as a sidekick because she wasn't ordinary enough (being a medical student and all) and when they tried to make her ordinary she just came across as stupid. Not Freema Ageman's fault at all, I just think it was poor writing. I think Donna's character could be interesting once the series gets going. Missed the Rome one, but this week's was good. Anyway we're digressing. Isn't this supposed to be the Torchwood thread?
