My memory and it's odd twists of behavior.

Yes, not having to go to work is rather nice, isnt it!
I'm assuming that you enjoyed Christmas in the end in your own way. I hope the hands are in better shape now and that you're nicely chilled out.
I read a nice account today of someone who had lost a child to cancer and had gone through a painful divorce, who said that if she did not love herself, then 'the one they are not loving is not me'. She also says that 'if you become a truer version of yourself then you constantly meet people who are attracted to who you are now', although it means releasing your hold on many relationships that were deeply loving and nourishing at one time in your life. I like the sound of that.

Eh... I think I would rather be liked by people who care who I am instead of who they'd like me to be.
Of course, that also is like Uvula's constant bleat: "Don't try to change me! If you don't like what I do, then you don't like me!"
I have given up trying to prove differently.

'Eh... I think I would rather be liked by people who care who I am instead of who they'd like me to be. ' Me too! I agree too that it is possible to love someone, but not what they do.
