Well, as it turns out, all the cr*p I put myself through over break has paid off!
All of my grain size stuff is done. I've applied for all my graduate schools but one I'm sure I will, and one I'm mulling over. I talked to my advisor today, and it seems I've got enough field data to finish up my project! This means all I have to do is number crunching and writing! I'm DONE! Finished, D-O-N-E, finito, nada mas, donnnnne! 
(Don't get me wrong, the writing is going to be the hard part, especially with someone as meticulous as Dr. Peck. My friend working with him is on the third draft of his thesis proposal now!)
But I accomplished what I needed to! And now it's back to normal, at least until the next crisis!

The data logger was still there when we looked! Still can't get to it because the canal is full, but the blue bag is still in the tree!
