I notice something about the Yankees in your name tag.
Things were very subdued here in Boston today. We have
many Red Sox fans, and they feel pretty devastated.

I don't doubt it! I've been so overw**ked over this whole Yankees thing. I was really hoping for Cubs vs. Red Sox.

We had a union meeting right after work on
Wednesday, and there was a television in the
room where we were meeting. Every time something
important happened in the game, we would all stop
the meeting and watch the game.

Don't the Cubs have some kind of a jinx, just like
the Red Sox? I've heard that if the Red Sox played
the Cubs in the World Series, both would lose.

Anyway, I refuse to let baseball (or any sport)
get me down. The Red Sox are a wonderful team, and
they have done very well for Boston over the years.
They've played in their share of World Series, and
have made it to the playoffs a fair number of times.
They have had some excellent individual players
(too many of whom have abandoned them for the Yankees,
including Roger Clemens )

*starts decorating for the Halloween party*

Places a few happy , and about the place. Hires a crew of party to string some party webs about the place, (glow in the dark!) Hands the lights to the es to string along the ceiling ...

Makes out the guest list, including but not limited to the neighborhood , , , and of course all of the regulars here in the Fang Club!
