Glad your making a living, I have to say I'm jelous, I realy should be writting another colum for I have ideas but no time to write them in.
yes I had a year out half way through my degree, and I was home educated for the first few years, so I've not really had 18 years straight of education.
Sounds like you've had a glamourous international life anyway .

Glamorous !
Interesting I would say. And not quite usual like the average Dane.
My daugther from the first marriage is MA in Irish Politics from Queens University in Belfast and is now doing a ph.d. there - from Denmark. She has a son of two and don't want to move - right now.
Not very many job possibilities in that field in Denmark. . But she does what she likes - and teaches dancing and choreographs dance-shows and fashion shows to survive - so she is happy about her life. And that is the most important.

OOh grankids! you must be one of those proud grandparents!
Goodonher for keeping up the PhD with a kid.. must be tough really, I agree that being happy about life is the most important thing. Money is just a means to an end, it can't buy happiness, but it makes misery more tolerable.

True
A proud grandparent. You bet .
Do you know the h2g2 friends photo gallery? Have a look at this:

And for a bonus my husband has two grandkids - a boy 2½ and a girl 1½
We had three grandkids in 13 months. A bit of an achievement
Tell me, where or from what do your political views stem?

Being a sunny Sunday in Denmark calls for putting this thread to your attention.
One reason is as good as another.

Lucky you! It's a grey miserable day here in Birmingham. Still I spent yesterday eating Ice Cream and watching videos with Ben and my flatmate.

..and for digging in the garden, Dusanka
I think I'll prepare for a plumtree. Maybe I could make some decent slivovic in a couple of years' time. My husband's mother is from Slovenia. Maybe she can supply me with a recipe

I just wanted to drop you a note to say...
Some how I got subscribed to the "Hi" thread. Maybe it was the Canadian connection (anhaga, azarah).
Any way - just dropped by to say hello.
It's a dark and rainy day in mdi-western Ontario.

I just wanted to drop you a note to say... Glad to drop in. It took me a while to get caught up. I just sent three articles off and I am finishing a piece that may go into a comic book. Would love to be @ a meet, but wont make it to Britain yet. Maybe next year for the 400th Anniversary of Guy Fawkes Day. (Also my wife's birthday).

Oi - I can still see you!
I just thought I'd drop by and pass on my best wishes, given that your tagline seems to be exam-based at the moment and I see you around quite a lot!
(for afterwards)

Yes, I should really be panicking more, but my life is just too much fun at the moment. So I thought I'd put the number of days to go in your tagline.
