Your last appointment JEllen is on a new moon, this is a good time for new beginings, its an auspicious time to find a new therapist. I find the moon affects me more than I realise, so its always lovely to see when it corresponds with important dates.

I believe in grabbing every extra bit of hope I can, I try to reprogramme my brain with the extra knowledge! Normally I have 2 extremes, pessimism and depression or optimism and happiness. So I try to programme myself to feel the happiness instead! So thats finding out all your happy triggers, anything which may have caused happy in the past, checking the moon, music, incense, herbal tea, good book and a candle. Its my new happy programme, it needs some more work though!

Thanks Abbi, Kaz, and PC. I appreciate all your good thoughts. I got through our last session ok - no tears. We talked some about abandonment issues - how this brings up the memory of everyone who has ever disappeared on me. Linda said she didn't like being part of such a list! She gave me her email, which was super nice, but warned me it was just to keep in touch, and not for counseling. I have an appointment set up to see a new therapist, and I hope I like her. She is in the same practice, and it would be convenient to keep all my records there.

My appointment with new therapist is Oct. 4th. I know I should be looking at it as a potential positive, but when I think about it I just feel glum.

Thanks Jazz. You should have seen me this weekend Jazz, I tried karaoke for the first time. I sang Love Me Do.

Congrats...getting up in front of a crowd, even a small one takes some courage...I've never done the karaoke thing. Oh & good song choice!

The only time I tried it, I sang Jefferson Airplane's "White Rabbit" (it seemed like a good idea at the time!)

The week before Christmas, I'm going out with work colleagues to a "Curryoke Bar". What a combination! Curry and Karaoke! (And alcohol, natch)
