it is ok...too many so called webdesigners and software makers think that small is beautiful and useful. they should punish them by forcing to wear glasses!

The Mekons C&W? Surely they started off anarcho-punk and then mutated and became part of the English folk revival? (See also The Oyster Band, King Edward II and the Red Hot Polkas...and even the overrated Levellers). But I now see from W***pedia that they did, indeed, have a Country phase.
Meantime...have the dreams settled down, JEllen?

They have settled down a little bit. Still having a few really bad ones, but most of my dreams are okay.

Maybe it will help if you think of dreams as Technicolor Movies In The Head. Nightmares are just B-movie slasher flicks.

Yes glad the nightmares have decreased JEllen! Hopefully the remainder will taper off over time too, hopefully before too long.
Hi abbi! Good to see you around more often!

Hi Jazz, I'm doing fine, but Micio has had to go on medicine. Her thyroid levels are too high. *sigh* Hopefully she will keep taking her medicine on her food with no problem.

Right, let's hope so, with that! I had been meaning to mention a somewhat Beatle-obsessed newbie I welcomed awhile back - U9193442 ...in Sweden. Hmm, no recent postings though.

Hi JEllen and everybody! On the 'lucid dreaming' front I've had an interesting experience the other night. I was dreaming and during my dream I thought of a very weird sort of phrase. I realised that I was dreaming and that when I woke up I would likely not remember this very interesting phrase. So, during my dream I concentrated on repeating the phrase to myself so that I would remember it when I woke up. And it worked! When I woke up I remembered the phrase ... but unfortunately over the course of another hour or so of awakeness I forgot everything of it except the last word, which was 'button'.

Ah yes! Looks like a creative modern twist on musicals ideas.
The music is very prominent compared to most productions isn't it?
Does it tell the history of the times during the beatles hey-day, through their music?

Back to nightmares...the other night, I had a really horrible one based loosely around the Col. Kurtz sequences in Apocalypse Now. I was, roughly speaking, the Martin Sheene character. It featured really graphic, stomach-turning scenes of torture and dismemberment which I won't go into.
The thing is...all that horrible stuff came from my own mind. Where else? Makes you think, eh?
Something I read years ago:
"How is it that any one of us can instantly think up horrible ways of torturing one another, but hardly anyone knows hoe to give a really decent back rub."

Hi Abbi!
Hi Edward!
It's great to see both of you!
Abbi, they movie is a romance, I think, but yes it tells of the 60's via Beatles music.
Edward, it is amazing what one can dream. I like that quote.

Oh, oh, oh.....a back rub!!!!! My Queendom for a back rub!!!! The closest i get is when Yoda clambers over my thighs (joy! The weight is lovely) onto my back & goes to sleep there; OK, i am pinned down, but a warm purring weighty thing is very nice.
I think if i suddenly came into money, the first thing i would treat myself to is a massage.

My recent nightmare was adequately compensated for by last night's dream...but there was more than just a back rub involved.
