Godben looks nice, the flames are ubercool, and I love the broken halo; excellent touch there!

wow. Its amazing how the colours make a difference! I thought it was fantastic! It had more of an impact than the black and white image...I agree the text was a bit hard to read, but I guess you did it for a reason. I would suggest maybe a text similar, but just easier to read....
But wow! Fantastic! The eyes were creepy. Gimp is meant to be really good!

I don't really think it's hard to read. Ever read German Fraktur? That more difficult I think.

Yes, and all old books are written in these letters. As a child I was always confused bacause at the beginning and in the middle of words the 's' is written nearly like 'f', just without the horizontal line.
But it's good to write I think.

Ooo. I did something like that in elementary too! We had to write the old english alphabet with an quill and ink.
Also, we made candles.

I like to do calligraphy sometimes. The only problem is that I tend to miss letters and have to write everything a few times.
