Egon - not generally. however, hvl said that EVERYTHING he said abou me was factually true and demonstrable. if there is something that isn't, then he has lied that evrything is factually true, and the actual thing is also a lie i can assure you.

well, i suppose it is hootooey in the sense of the topic drift we seem to be getting.

Can't agree. Hootoo has a rich tradition of flame wars and heated arguments. Does everyone good to get stuff out of their system from time to time.

I remember the monogamy thread with some fondness, although the quality of the 'debate' was patchy.

For the betting men and women amongst us, we could really do with a book on how this will end - will one or the other party concede, or get banned, or leave the site? I think it's quite evenly poised at the moment, although I think there are already one or two outcomes that are quite unlikely.
