Really? Would you vcare to share your suspicions via email, to avoid spoiling the fun for any other lurkers
Tango - Hoovooloo Paradox
GreyDesk Posted May 19, 2003
That might be do-able
Perhaps I should open a book on it

Well, this is certainly a better way of spending an evening than writing that presentation I should be writing.
And I think you may well be right with your prediction of the identity of the unknown poster.

I agree on the entertainment value. Though I am getting a bit sick of eating all the time. Do you fancy some instead?
Anyway, the book.

I've got myself a crunchie bar, yer alright.
What are the odds on Elvis? Or Earl Barrett?

This thread's begun to drift a bit with tango and spook absent and Hoo not involved yet, hasn't it?
Tango - Hoovooloo Paradox
GreyDesk Posted May 19, 2003
Yes it has rather. And whats more I *really* need to go to bed and get some sleep, what with me needing to be up by about 7:30am ready to face the working week.

Morning, GreyDesk.
Evens on myself trying to promote a war? Hah well here's my tip: don't bet on OwlofDoom, he's a pacifist.
Tango - Hoovooloo Paradox
SEF Posted May 19, 2003
Ditto on the pacifism. Though (once having worked out what the scoring system meant) I was somewhat offended to be given such high odds for other reasons. As I had already stated my dislike of such anonymous activity, it means you don't believe this.
PS Why no Mark Moxon (or even Jim Lynn) in there?

GreyDesk Posted May 19, 2003
Ah, yes, but this is only the opening book. Depending upon the bets from punters the market then moves

Having asked Abi what these weird numbers mean, I have to ask, why am I drifting in the betting? Or did she say drifting in the odds?

I neither confirm nor deny being any of the people in the line.
Especially Elvis. I especially neither confirm nor deny being Elvis.
Thank you. Thank you very much.

I'll have a virtual guinea on the mystery poster being Justin the Preacher.

Sorry it doesn't work like that. People give me the money because they think that it is you, and if they are proved wrong I get to keep it
