I've read the back log. Yet this stupidity continues (I appologise to resort to insults but it appears to be the only language a number of people in here understand).

I am merely trying to end this rediculous argument.

Hoovooloo - Spook upset you over a blunt comment about your article. He was wrong. He's admitted to that. I can't tell you what to do, but this is getting rediculous. While spook isn't the best at etiquete, and grammar he does give me the impression that he is an intelligent man, yet can be very hot headed. A little like you Hoovooloo. You by continuing this are lowering your self to the level you assume spook is at. I request kindly that you at least attempt reconciliation. And at the very least stop using insults in your arguments, as they do not help, and I am beginning to think you enjoy winding people up . Please prove to me otherwise.

V: you expose the depth of your ignorance by assuming this concerns me and spook. The clue is in the subject line: I'm waiting for an apology from Tango for a defamatory lie about me. Spook is merely egotistically attempting to make it about him. It is not. The incident to which you refer is completely irrelevant, except inasmuch as it is indicative of spook's character and the double standards from which he benefits. His "apology", which was clearly no such thing, is similarly irrelevant. This is NOT about spook, as you would know if you had bothered to do more than the most cursory research. I trust, based on this, that you will understand if I give your uninformed opinion the weight it deserves.

actually this does include me hvl. you are trying to get Tango to apologise because he said you lied about me and that that is a lie when it is not because you did lie about me so i am involved and you are wrong and you ARE a liar and both me and Tango know it so you may as well just give up cause Tango ain't never gonna apologise to you EVER!

Oh, and one other thing - spook did not "upset" me by commenting bluntly on an article. I've had some extremely blunt comments on articles I've written from people a lot more intelligent than spook, and they've usually resulted in an improvement to the article. Blunt comments do not upset me. Spook ORDERED me to remove my entry from Peer Review, on the grounds not only that he was not going to pick it, but nor was any other Scout. I thought this behaviour unbecoming and unacceptable in a Scout, and queried Anna whether spook should be permitted to behave in this way. Her response can be summed up as "yes, it's OK". So I stopped writing Guide Entries. If that's what Scouts are supposed to be like, I for one want nothing to do with the b*****ds.

It is wearing and should be unnecessary to have to repeat these facts, but there is a real danger that if one does not, the false version of events will become the accepted one.

Then maybe you shouldn't have started this thread speciically about his argument with Tango then. That could be seen as, for want of a better term, stirring it, as couldyour posting that I criticised in my previous posting.
