....

Not too good at the moment. Need a place to live, I hate my family. It's official. Got a bit of a health scare going on (not cancer, thank my god) but still....I can't help but worry. Still don't know whether to book that summer holiday - supposed to be going on an 'educational field trip' to Barcelona with college, but I don't know what's going on. And one of my closest friends suffered a bereavement. It's all fun and games all down my way! Ach well, at least I have London to look forward to. smiley - smiley

Why did I type this in the message bit??!!

Anyway....

Went to see THAT film last week and wow! I am hooked! Why did I hate the books so much at school? Oh, how I misjudged great literature in my youth! Well, for those of you who haven't seen the film, do. It stays excellently faithful to the book, the Fellowship of the Ring, dontcherknow, which should keep even the diehards happy, but it is simplified enough for people like my sister to understand (she's never read the books, and yeah, she's kinda simple ). Great acting, fantastic special effects, and the camerawork blew me away. Go see it!

Crimbo is coming.....

And I'm all excited like a child! This is my favourite time of year, it really is. Presents, the tree, bad TV, goodwill, Hogmanay, etc, I love it all. Although I'm agnostic, I don't see Crimbo as a religious festival; I see it more as a time of year when we all say 'let's put our differences aside and just celebrate some peace and love'. And get ready for Hogmanay, of course!

Got my hair cut last night, it's very short, but cool. It's spiky and ultra-modern and everyone likes it, yay! Finished the Crimbo shopping and spent some money on ME! Can't wait for my night out next Sunday night, gonna get drunk again, but probably not as badly as I did at SMEG......smiley - silly
