Not long til the peace is shattered...

...so here I am, in my lovely flat with my lovely flatmates, when a certain researcher finds out there's a spare room. And he promptly takes over. He moves in next week - bah! Already he's taken over my own room with his damn books and CDs lying everywhere - typical man, won't pick up his mess after him. But still, things will change when he's all nice and settled in - oh yes! *Cue evil laugh*
Mind you, it's nice to have the company - and his Hitchhiker CDs to listen to!

We came, we saw....

....and we laughed a lot! Me, Lost, DoctorGonzo, Pegasus and Phil had tickets for Never Mind the Buzzcocks and I haven't lauged so much in a loooong time! Just off the sleeper from Euston - going down was fun, we flew, and a certain researcher just couldn't keep his excitement in at being in a plane for the first time in years, altogether now? Awww, bless!

Yup, it's official! I'm now a townie! Moved into my flat in Leith Walk, so I suppose I'm a 'Leither' really... but hey! For some reason my stereo's not working, so I hope to god I can get it fixed....how can I play the PS2 and listen to some damn good music at the same time?? Living in Edinburgh is cool, and I'm now nice and local to pubs and shops, and I'm local for the Scottish Meet now, yay!

Yes, I saw that film again. And it's still good! And I didn't jump when the troll came round the pillar and scared Frodo, unlike some people...you know who you are....!

...and with good reason. I've cheered up a lot now, thanks to the money I have for nodnoL, my great assessment marks (apparently I came top of the class - thought I was gonnae fail) and the completion of the editing of yet another news report for the 'Big Project'. I'm on a roll! Also got a number to ring for a place in Edinburgh, so fingers crossed on that one. And I got my homework done on time, for once! And I'm off to the sinny tonight to see LOTR - again. La vie est tres bien!
