Well, seeing as you ask...

EV went out earlier today and 10 minutes later my waters break But I managed to get a hold of him and we got ourselves up to the hospital where they confirmed it. We came home as I've not gone into labour yet, although the midwife says she won't be surprised if we end up going back in later! So if all else fails tonight I'm due at the hospital at 9 am tomorrow to get induced - so it's all go!

Hurrah! There's nearly a baby Fords/EV aboot!

It just seems we've been bumping into each other recently and then I realised you were another 'bump on the verge' as it were, so came a lookin'

Keep walking, Fords, keep drinking, keep warm and above all else keep that babe hangin' off you (lean forward if you are not walking: wrong way round on a cjhair is good, lean on the worktop, back of the sofa, etc) - and it will do all the work for you

Wise words you have there - I'm sitting just now propped up with lots of cushions and a hot water bottle easing me poor back, but I'm changing position so I don't get stuck. What I'd really like just now is a cool crisp glass of Cava, but apple juice will have to do for now

Hmmf, i do hope there isn't going to be any sort of gap in your postings on h2g2 Fords. I mean, having a baby is one thing & we are all breathing with you, but it's not really an excuse, i imagine they will allow you to take your laptop into the delivery suite?

Anyway; & make sure you get that Cava asap after the newbie arrives!
