Sometimes I know how Arthur felt but I never seem to have the courage to throw the cup.
I fell in love with the radio series back in the dim and distant past of secondary school, bought the tapes and wore them out, went to the stage show at Theatre Clwyd (anybody else out there who went?), read the books, watched the TV series (it wasn't as good), waited for the film, and was lucky enough, once only unfortunately, to meet DA, hear him read from his books and share a pint (City University around '85 or '86).
Why didn't the man write more.......
I've just arrived and will spend some time snooping around.
I may jump into a conversation here and there.
I may even write something if I can think of a subject where others aren't better qualified.
That could be difficult.
