So, why didn't Mrs. Lurcher get revenge
by filling all his McLurchers bottles with
sherry?

Mom says she tried, but the gophers caught her and told Lurcher.

Yep..all of them things, plus, I carefully swapped positions of essential utensils, "misplaced" others, and generally caused mayhem in "her" domain.
Accidentally, of course.
As a result, I am discouraged from spending much time in the kitchen when Mrs L is in residence.
It`s a cross I shall just have to bear bravely.

So what do you do when you want a snack or a beer?

Just ask politely, with a big smile, and sometimes, just sometimes,
I get waitress service

Those darn gophers! If they hadn't told on you,

Nothing gets my mother more upset than having
someone else messing around in *her* kitchen.

I just *wish* someone would cross that line! One of my main rolls around here is waitress.
lol I cooked up a huge batch of spaggheti (sp?) tonight, and wound up walking plates to everyone. At least the kids will use the microwave.

All you really need is two recipes, Sergeant Mushroom .

A recipe for disaster, and a recipe for oblivion.

But those aren't the two I have in mind.
Trouble is, I have them written down on a slip of paper
that's at the bottom of a tall pile of stuff in the
other room.
