The Laire of Hades and Eden

ABANDON ALL HOPE, YE WHO ENTER HERE. TURN BACK BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE."
And then below, in a different hand:
Leave us alone. You need not worry about us. We shall not drynk of any researcher.

Allright, allright, if you insist. But I warned you.
~You open the door. It takes a moment for your eyes to adjust to the darkness, and in the slight instant that you are blinded, a hand grabs you by the throat. A raspy voice hisses into your ear, raising the hairs on the back of your neck.~
"Were you not warned? You should not have entered. Now, I have a choice. I may either throw you into the dungeon, or let you go. If I let you go, you must never, ever return. What do you choose?"
"Have mercy! Please, let me go. I'll never come back!"
"I've been here before. Throw me in the dungeon."
