Did our taxes today. All day. Tom's job is great, it really is--he helps people stay independent, and he pretty much sets his own schedule. Only problem is, he's technically an independent contractor, so he doesn't get any taxes withheld from his wages. So we owe. Quite a bit. Enough that it looks like there may be no trip to Pennsylvania this summer. He says we'll just have to see, but as we're going to be moving somewhere with a bit lower rent, and it costs so much to move...
I should know better by now than to look forward to stuff so much...
But, hey, it is a *few* months from now, so who knows?

I won't be on much while at work the next little while... So if you don't see me much, that's why... I'll be around during lunch, though, but I might be checking backlog, so I may not answer right away...

Don't worry! It's only for a couple of days!
Yep, I'm leaving work early today to go see Daddy Bob, and I won't be home until Sunday night. I may not be able to get online until Monday morning, depending on how late we get back.
I'll be leaving in two hours from *now* and in about half an hour, I've got some away-from-the-computer work to do... I may have time to get on for a few minutes after that, but we'll see (I need to get stuff done before I take off...)
So if I don't see you before I go, have a great weekend!

The site's really messed up, and it's lunchtime, and so I can't just go do work while ignoring the problem!! Lunch is the one absolute guilt-free time I can be on here!! I did find some apartments to email to my husband's email account, though... But still!!

I'm going to be gone this whole weekend. Tom and I are going to visit Daddy Bob up in Crescent City. Should I write another travellogue when we get back? I mean, there'll likely be nothing going on except driving and talking, but that's all that went on during the last trip
Though this time it won't be quite the huge driving session, as we're only going one place...
