And now, after reading it, I can explain (though I still don't get why 1984, in particular... Who wants 1984

Happy has his own timezone, because he insists that it's not tomorrow until he's slept, even if the sun has been up for a good while. I've given up nagging him to go to bed because of that... (Well, and I know he works odd hours...)
Last Wednesday, we spoke on the phone right before either of us went to bed, and he's 8 hours ahead of me...
