Hey, vp, did you see that the website you pointed out tells us what M Theory means? "Mother of all theories"

oh yes, I had forgotten about that one - I think they pretty much like to make the m up depending on their mood - maybe in 10 years time it will be known as muddled theory when the next batch of physics comes along and showsthem how wrong they are

Mother of all "theory's" didn't I meet her this one time at band camp when this lady wondered on the site with food enven though we are not supposed to have visitor's and I stoped her then a bear came out and charged us....good thing I was carring my visa card...and then the bear left and we started talking and she said she was theory's mom and she did something or other with physics and said that the universe was a big ball of twine or string and something and a gigantic cat would play with it and bat it around from time to time and that is why it seems that the string that makes up this demntion waves from time to time and that cats try to show us how important they are to the universal constant by playing with bits of string so that we know that if it wasn't for them that the universe would not exsit as we know it
or could I of just made that up

you know...... something sounds vaguely familiar about that story............ not that i've ever heard that particular story before...... but it sounds like you couldn't have made it up, it must be real. Surely you wouldnt' give us a fictionalized account of the events of your life, now would you?
