For all those upset to have "missed" the physics:

"A maid with a duster made a furious bluster
Whilst dusting a bust in the hall.
When the bust it was dusted,
The bust it was busted,
The bust it was dust, thats all"

I have this letter theory that if I post a letter up the road in the red box in the wall, it goes thru several black holes connected by bits of string in a Heath Robinson sort of way. The strings are in a cat's cradle structure of subethereal light forms which read the post code and transfer the letter in molecular packets to the front door of the recipient.
or am I mixing up e mail and snail mail?
Not to mention "The Night Mail". A wonderfully evocative documentary from the 50's or 60s by the late John Grierson.

String theory?
It was in 1847 when George Bayleaf brought together the disperate reminants of the later Roger Waldorf, through a complicated of pully's and levers, string was laced intricatly through the lid of a dustbin till it was lifted, with little effort by a falling waterfall, some seven feet into the air.
The theory was, whilst the astonished crowds watched the small pieces of string, the greatest, possibly feindish, use of a four-letter expletive in a conversation regarding garden vegetables occured.
Dr Keist Brum-Wimsicle From the University of Loddon Suffolk, (formularly president of the Charing cross fork festivle Circa 1983), in the 1991 book "String theory unraveled", dismissed this explination, favouring the symultainious disappearance of the Bradford Bridlepath, accompanying stables and four pounds of sheep liver, as the most plausible explination for the distracting string elaborate set-up, and claims the string theory cannot be unraveled due to the differences in Northern and Southern-English ritueals regarding Bird Baths and summer houses for afternoon tea.
