Ah, how good it feels to be in love.

Reach for the stars,
for they're sweeter by far than the moon,
'though she's brighter and closer to you.

Letters

I've spent the last few days here talking to fp and EV and I'm wondering; why do my best friends on h2g2 seem to be just pairs of letters.

Am I drawn to initals in some strange way?

Someone Special

Well, some four weeks ago I went to Little Bruv's place for a party. There I bumped into someone I haven't seen since school days. Well, she and I got talking as you do...and then there was the patch of gravel behind the shed (I won't go into details here).

Suffice it say that she and I are ...well...you know. I don't seem to have been able to think straight for the last four weeks. I can't see enough of her ( and believe me I've seen quite a lot already)

To quote Stimpson J Cat "Happy, happy, happy. Joy, joy joy."

Columbia

I am still feeling very distressed about the loss of Columbia and her crew. I hope that the cause of the accident doesn't turn out to be something stupid and negligent like Challenger was.

This sort of thing only gives the anti manned spaceflight lobby more ammunition. They would happily throw our future away over an event like this. They don't appreciate how much that dishonours those people who not only dream the dream but have the courage to live it.

At least George W says the space programme will go ahead, I hope he keeps to that.

We desperately need some new space vehicles, though. The replacement for Shuttle is long overdue. Columbia was 22 years old. Let's face it, most people wouldn't keep a car that long.
