I've spent the last few days here talking to fp and EV and I'm wondering; why do my best friends on h2g2 seem to be just pairs of letters.
Am I drawn to initals in some strange way?

Initials are better than full names I think, since it would be too much typing in the case of EV and better than being suspended in my case!

Thats true, fp. Best just to stick to initials in your case.
And don't worry, EV, I'm quite comfortable with the informal approach.
