I work as a fundraiser for the leading disability charity - Leonard Cheshire and am interested in all matters regarding fundraising generally and Leonard Cheshire VC in particular. The charity has been subject to cyber terrorism lately (take a look at www.leonardcheshirefoundation.net and see what we're up against) so we're becoming more proficient but have a lot to learn.
Leonard Cheshire now works with 20,000 disabled people in the UK and as many again around the world. Few people however know of our work to "enable ordinary lives" not perhaps exiting but pretty important to 40,000 disabled children and adults.
We have been running a campaign (see www.leonard-cheshire.org/petition) to persaude the government NOT to charge disabled people for personal support and assistance. If you agree it's wrong to be charged £11 for a bath please add your name to our petition!!

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
