I watched David Lynch's "Dune" (1984) but even considering how old it was I was a bit disappointed. Saw it through till the end, though.

I watched Julie Andrews in "Star" the other day. I didn't like it when I saw it in bits and pieces earlier, but this time I saw it in its entirety from beginning to end, and I appreciated the magnitude of Julie's effort to do a credible job of portraying someone so different form how she is herself.
