I've been driving for over a year now.

Even though lots of bad things still hurt me ... ya' jusssss can't sit on your butt whining about it.I mean, you CAN ... but it's more fun to force yourself to get better ... every day ... every hour ... and you know what? It was because of people like you~! that I'm so much better!
Really~! I couldn't have done it without you~!
And on my very worstest daze ... I untie the pale, purple ribbon that holds the get well cards that so many of you sent ... and there's yours, with the cartoon goofs all over it ... how could I still be: sad, mad, sore, etc., when I read those cards?! Especially the one you sent Paul H.!
... just remember ... when I get on your nerves ... it's YOUR fault I'm still alive!
when you save a life ... you are responsible for that person for the rest of the time they are on this Earth.

Since you started this tread ... I've remembered all sorts of dumb things I've done......It's really amaze-a-late-ing I'm still alive!

My friend has a horse who attacks me ever time I get near it~!
I was standing near the fence and it came up...stuck it's head over the fence, put it's face between my legs and threw me backward! My friend helped me off & was brushing me up when another friend walked up and asked what was going on? ...I told him...and as I was telling him...I took a step toward the horse and he threw me again~!
Howzz that on the 'dumb scale'?

I live in a glass house, so I'm the last person who should be throwing rocks.

I have anouther stupid thing I've done. Not that that list isn't long along already but this is new. I can sum this one up in one sentence. Never pick up a log out of a fire(especially if its on fire at the time)

It's nearly Trick-or-Treat ...
... which reminds me of a stupid thing I did one year I was hosting the 'Haunted Trail' in the local Village ... I glued a cardbaord, pointy, chin onto my chin & then mixed green food color into a face lotion (might as well get a good long facial whilst making children wet themselves, er, I mean, laugh & stuff) ...
after passing out, er fallin asleep with all the stuff still on my face ... well, I mean, I did go home with the scarecrow, so, it would have been weird for me to take off my costume ... ANYway ... by the time we awakened & I TRIED to wash my face ... the glue ... actually TWO glues (the one wouldn't hold) had given me second & THIRD degree burns~!!!
The 'scarecrow' had been a medic in the Navy & insisted on rushing me to the hospital ... luckily my own dr. was on duty at the ER ... having been my doc for quite some time HE rated this as *THE* dumbest - dumbas* attack he had EVER seen me have~!
Naturally many years have since passed and he has seen me *create* bigger & better 'dumbas* attacks'.
One thing's for certain, I'm ALWAYS up to date on my "tisk-ness shot
