ah! I work at a uni so there's no blocking, it's more a case of being 'obvious' if you go to dodgy sites!

I do hope we get photos of the outfit, sounds fun smiley - smiley

Off now, have a good weekend and plenty of sewing smiley - winkeye

(and I know what it is like, I made the hose I use for re-enactment and I hope I never have to sew another thing ever!)

Heh, probably not a good plan that. Doubt it will taste very good. Probably better than soya though. Hmmm.

Problem with ace'ing is you are competing with lil and her quest to become auntie to more than 50% of the british population!
Send her a link with a couple of buttons in it and whilst she's busy you can catch up a bit!

well, tis summer, apparently. You can tell, it's been raining for weeks smiley - winkeye

Come september/october it should pick up a bit - although with myfacespacebook thingy that'll dent some of it. Apparently about a third of our uni term time network traffic is myspace or whatever it is.

I am guilty of surfing Facebook from uni occasionally but I usually wind up here on hootoo at some point too (when I'm supposed to be doing W*rk)

Well I am starting my Degree in September. I find it somewhat amusing that I with a D in higher Chemistry am doing a Science degree smiley - laugh It is a silly system, but I'm not complaining Four years work and I will have a BSc. in Psychology.

*wonders if that means letters after my actual name when filling in forms*

well, you *could* use the letters if you wanted to. Especially if you had BPS membership as well. I think you are allowed to for about a year to get over the novelty and then it is a bit, well, y'know smiley - winkeye

S'weird actually, I know of several people in business who do use the BSc. after theirs names but of the people I know with Masters and PhDs hardly any of them use them (or tghe Dr. title) except for official academic or high level business stuff.

My dad gave up a bit on his cos he has 2 - Rev. and Dr. and the most computer systems can't cope with more than 1 honorific so he does without them both most of the time.

ah, not good. You have anything you can take for it or are the migraines not susceptible?

Impressed you are even up and functioning and posting on here with one though!

I get them a lot. Co-codemoles help and shall be taken shortly. I'm busy eating an ice pole just now (hehe Dutch flatmate calls them popsicles) I can just about function normally with a migraine, just gotta hide from bright lights and loud noises. So hiding in my bedroom.

"Co-codemoles"

sounds like some sort of socialist burrowing programmer!

You call it an icy pole??? I have to admit I've not heard that before. although A20361827 reckons the aussies do as well. I'd call it a popsicle too I think - the frozen slush in a long thing plastic tube?

Hiya.

Post 99

minichessemouse - Ahoy there me barnacle!

Frozen slush in a tube indeed, and chemically flavoured and coloured (think this is an orangey one) Maybe it's a Scottish thing to call them ice-poles.

And the co-codemoles are my bad spelling and being silly combined. It's actually co-cosmol. Or If you want to be perniketty a mixture of Codeine and Paracetamol. Tend to make me a bit fuzzy ad confused though.

Oh I knew what you meant - well, thought I did as I had co-codemol (same thing, codeine and paracetamol) when I had several abcesses after having my teeth capped. Also found 400mg ibuprofen tabs worked well cos they're anti-inflammatory as well.

Don't seem to knock me out too much though - guessI am just lucky!

Do you get sudden migraines or do you get the warning signs some people have?
