minichessemouse - Ahoy there me barnacle!

Not really, been watching TV mostly, Discovery science channel. Had some toast earlier, thats been about the excitement of my day, was supposed to take a walk down to the doctors to hand in my 'medication request' but am feeling rather icky still today, so it will have to wait until tomorrow. I will survive without my co-codemol an extra day or two.

"but am feeling rather icky still today"
smiley - laugh I know what you mean (see lil's little limeric on my ps)

Ah, co-codemol, wonderful stuff. All the dental problems I had in the past co-codemol was the only thing that would touch it - shame you can't take more of them as they never seemed to last long enough.

So where are you at the moment? Got your own place or chilling at your parents?

Is it Discovery that's doing the elephant/whale/other big animal autopsy? Looks fascinating but not sure if I'll stand the gore.

I am in my wee flat in Dundee. There *should* be three people living here, but due to summer holidays, there is me, and a temporary guest.

On Discovery today seems to mostly be how things are made programs, so I don't mind.

Unfortunately yes. Flora is back July 20th, but then she and Phil (temporary guest and her boyfriend) are off to Germany during August. Dave wont be back till the middle of August at the earliest, so I will be truly alone for a while.

hmmm, empty student flat - PAAAARRRTTYYYY!!! You could host your own hootoo meet where you don't have to travel anywhere!

smiley - winkeye

(or maybe not - you'd probably discover 2legs hidden under the floorboards 3 weeks later and no one needs a surprise like that!)

Its a *tiny* flat, no room for a party, Plus I live in Dundee, you have got to be joking if you think its easy to get to as well.

Nah. I will survive on my own. I have hootoo for company, and Dave is usually on MSN to pester.

and there's always discovery channel smiley - smiley

Has the flat got a kitchen? It is my contention that providing you have a kitchen a party can be held in any property as kitchens are smiley - tardis like in their ability to hold drunk people.

Anyway, it's come over all dark and foreboding here and the rain is just starting so I'm going to leg it the 10mins to the station and hope a) I don't get soaked and b) it's all done by the time I get back home and have a 20min walk!

Speak soon

Hmm, Its technically a kitchen, but I only think it could hold four people, and they would have to stand in a line.

Enjoy your trip home. Hopefully you wont get too wet (I rather like the rain)

hiya, thought you was busy elsewhere smiley - winkeye

Yes, rain is good, I like it too. Especially from inside a tent looking out over wild countryside. Preferably mountainous or bleak depending on mood!

Me lucky, I'm sat next to the portable air con unit in our tiny hot office as I have the window smiley - smiley

you ok?

I'm alright, just VERY warm. We have quite a few windows open in the flat, to no avail though, there is no wind, and any there is is warm. Just wasted an hour playing Pokemon on my DS!

Busy smiley - laugh I was up till five this morning watching Black Books on T'interwebs, you think I'm Busy smiley - laugh

I meant talking elsewhere on this here interwebs smiley - winkeye
Counts as 'busy' for students doesn't it?

Ah, black books, three of my favourite comedy bods in one go. Shame Tamsin Greig as already married and completely out my league smiley - winkeye

So what's the plan for tonight then? Flaking out and hoping you can get some sleep, somehow? Think that's about all I can do.

I dunno. If i was sure I wouldn't manage to get myself lost I would take a middle of the night trip to Tescos I need shopping and its WAY too warm during the day to walk back up the hill with it all especially since big Tescos is about a mile away, wee Tescos is closer but also it has hardly anything in it. And Tescos always involves the movement of small pieces of paraer from my bank account to the till of the supermarket, which I cant really be doing with at the moment.

Nah. Think I will just find some more random TV to watch online, Mighty Boosh or Flight of the Concordes maybe.

Next door flat is currently uninhabited and the only other person staying here Is currently working nightshift so dont need to worry about him as he isnt here. I have the middle room in the flat, so theres a 'buffer' between me and the flats on either side. Plus I dont listen to things that loud anyways.

I am very considerate and well behaved. The loudest my music is ever on is so I can hear it while washing the dishes. I make sure *most* of the dishes are clean most of the time and that there aren't *too* many bin-bags waiting to go down to the bin.

I don't Smoke, drink (well I would, but I'm not allowed to at the moment) or do anything else naughty. I even take fairly good tabs on my smiley - 2cents. . . . . . . . . . Wait a sec, when did i suddenly become a sensible Grown-up? smiley - yikes
