Fimally, it's almost gone, but I wont to have a good Jung Yi clear out of the toxins now.
Fiancee is a carrion eater, but she is a Jungyi nurse, ( doing ny Hep injections too!).

A Heatwave?
Here, they've cancelled the Mayday holidaay, (a week) , because of the fear of SARS!

Wow!
A 'carrion eater' presumably is a heartless carnivore??? I've just been doing a course about life in Jesus's time and learning about the sacrifices in the Temple in Jerusalem. All meat eaten had to be ritually sacrificed to God first or it was unclean.
Interesting thought...if the Jews did rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem the sacrifices would start again...and that would ruffle a few feathers!
So how is spring in China? And what's it like at work now you are fully settled in? And how's your Mandarin getting on?

But did God Have to cover it In HP sauce? I ask you!
Spring in Nanning is hotter than the days in High Summer when the Sun has banner headlines saying "Phew what a scorcher!".
It was 34 last week, and my fan, ( no air conditioners, too unhealthy), was broken for 3 days. Like you know when Alice was big and started crying and flooded Wonderland?
The college work is fine' I only have to prepare 1 lesson for a week's classes, but the people who actually employ me are pains in ther bum, and I need to go to arbitration.
Exams in 3 weeks, poor devils will they be able to talk to me?

I can never work out if it's worse to be too hot or too cold...but you have my sympathy for the 34 degrees. Humid too?
Well of course God would use HP sauce? What do you think HP stands for? The 'Higher Power' of course...
I keep thinking back to my time in Shanghai and the cockroach multitudes. They got into my suitcase and everywhere. I had to ring the bed legs with vaseline to feel safe at night.
But it's good to hear from you again - do keep in touch when you can. I went to Spain over Easter to run an international conference and have moved house (got a goldfish pond now Very happy)
How is the fiancee? My BB and I decided to go along to the register office to start enquiring about what we had to do - and the appointment had to be cancelled twice because friends and relatives started dropping dead and we had to go to funerals instead

MaggyW Posted Jul 11, 2003
Actually, going to the funeral was really good - because I met the guy who's training me to be a funeral minister myself and I'd never have met him otherwise!
So that was the 'right thing' to do. Odd.
Great to hear from you Beanfoto. Is all well?

Long term absence not due to dropping out but to dropping off the pavement and damAging thumb tendon. Di you know how many ythings you cant do without your right thumb? Touch typing is one of them, and you shouldn't even be asking about that! If I don't apply agaain trying to type hurt too much.
And the temperature in my flat hasn't ben below 30 for months now, which is okay with a fan, washing machine and at least 2 showers a day.

Don't worry...I've lost my job here since you've been away and I've not been on site either. The site's been taken over by Religion and Ethics (though I have to say there's no sign of that yet!) and I've been writing a book in the hottest English summer for yonks.
Sorry about your thumb...horrid. And about the heat. Not a comfortable country to be in, China, in the heat.
All well with the best beloved?

That's because I haven't been in the country. I was working in the US on a summer camp for children with ADHD, and other behavioural disorders, and I had a great time !

Dear Professor,
I've been away for all of August - and I don't work on 360 any more so I only get to post occasionally now, like you.
Imogen left the site altogether in protest because Religion and Ethics weren't hiring me (she's a bit fiery, bless her, but a wonderful woman).
Beanfoto you take care of that tttthhhhhuuuuummmmbbbb!

Ah yes, ouch, ouch, ouch!
Was told it could be up to a year before back to normal, hope that doesn't mean pain all the way. Just paid over the odds for glasses here, seems they have little idea about middle age long sightedness, ( or they just want to fleece a lao wai).
Yesterday was the Mid Autumn festival, ( moon cake day). Did they celebrate thatwhen you were here? Whilst off line I found out they still eat sparrows...

Madam,
Why not consult Astrolion about your horoscope to find out the reasons for the problems you are facing and when you are likely to get better opportunities in life within the near future so that we can feel relaxed.?
