Abi tells me you're thinking of putting together a load of Band Bio entries. Well, allow me to offer my services, should you need them; I've already done one on the Cult (see my edited entry list on my space... you may have to scroll through a few pages, though. ).

Any bands in particular you're thinking of doing?

I wouldn't mind joining in. Abi suggested i do Hefner or the Strokes. I don't really know an awful lot about them though. I could do a short Hefner, and a good Nick Cave, Velvet Underground, Tindersticks, Momus, Belle and Sebastian, Beatles (must already have been done surely), Scott Walker, Chet Baker, Billy Bragg, Sex Pistols, the Smiths.

Somewhere i've got a masssive biography of the Sisters that i wrote about ten years ago when i worked for them. I could dig that out. It will still be up to date after all.

What we could really do with it bio's of bands who aren't written about elsewhere, who don't have hard copy biographies in bookstores. Bands like The Slits, The Fall, The Raincoats, CRASS (now there's a story), Au Pairs... Bands with girls in, it would appear.
