What causes altered immunity?

I work at the Center for Immune, Environmental and Toxic Disorders.
Besides people who are sick from moulds, we see people who have had adverse reactions to pertrochemicals, silicon, and hepatitis B vaccine.
AND NOW SOMETHING ABOUT ME
I am an ape descended life form living in Houston, Texas. I don't own a horse, sing in my church, and have been a clinical neurophysiology tech for 20 years -this includes EEG's (brain wave tests), nerve and muscle testing, and sleep studies.
One of the things I like to do every year is to watch the Art Carparade. It is April 28th this year in Houston, and if I can borrow a digital camera I'll post some pictures.
