Hello!
Greetings to all - friends, family, companions I have met over the web, and contributors to the BBC messageboards (where I post under the name 'sixdaysam').
This reason for this is that I believe that God created the universe in six days, around six thousand years ago, just like the Bible tells us.
As you may have gathered, I am a committed, born again Christian. That means I have repented of my sin and have received new life in Jesus Christ. There are many people who call themselves Christians, but who are, in fact, false prophets. You can usually identify them by questioning them about the fundamentals of the Christian faith or by asking them to give a statement of their faith.
I am currently a student at the beautiful and historical St. Andrew's University. I have just finished year there where I am reading social anthropology and international relations. I have just received my first year marks and got a 2.1 overall. I did apply to Trinity College, Cambridge and had an internview there, but for various reasons did not go there in the end. On graduating, I hope to join the faststream diplomatic service and hopefully enter Parliament one day as an MP. My ultimate ambition to rise to become a cabinet minister. That may not happen, but it's jolly good fun to imagine it sometimes!
In my free time, I enjoy fellowship with other Christians. I am also a member of the Conservative party and I am unashamed to call myself a true blue Thatcherite. I also adore country pursuits, including shooting and hunting. In the wintertime I go ski-ing in the Italian Alps.
