CHINA BABY YEAH!!!
Posted May 20, 2004
Been a flippin long time since my last journal entry... update..BEEPBEDEBEEPBEEP...
Holiday and flights to China are all booked!
Now it's just the annual "oh god how am I going to save the cash!" dilemma! Got a second job again though.. ooh, got a permanent day job too! Far more secure . Second job is office cleaning, a lot less hours for only slightly less money than the theatre work
Thinking about climbing Snowdon this year - looks much more like a proper pointy mountain than Ben Nevis , need to do a big exercise-related achievement again this year.
New housemates have come and gone. Got a friend living here - she's much happier than she was at home , got my sister a job at my new place, so she's much happier and earning . And them being happy makes me super happy!
The only way to solve problems is to work at them.. at least then you feel better for doing something
And the sun's coming!!!

Back in Engerlund.... but missing the parks of the US
Posted Oct 8, 2003
I'm back, and had a fantastically groovilicious brilliant time
Couldn't possibly write everything here so I'm gonna write it all in an entry once I've finished writing bits down in my notebook! To summarise, we saw...
Las Vegas
Grand Canyon (and took a flight over it)
Painted Desert
Sunset Crater Volcano
Meteor Crater
Monument Valley
Mexican Hat
Four Corners monument (where 4 states meet)
Antelope Canyon
Grand Staircase Escelante
Bryce Canyon
Salt Lake City
Yosemite National Park
Death Valley
!
Also saw Kaibab, Conico, Inyo, Dixie and other national forests on our routes. Drove along the bottom of a canyon, through a tornado and round the edges of mountains with big drops below! Saw dinosaur tracks and poo. Met New York ladies straight out of Jerry Springer, Forrest Gumps from Alabama, and a nice Navajo indian called Dave.
Bit I'm missing most - chilling out in Death Valley, in a chemical-free natural spring fed swimming pool at a natural 84 degrees..
It's bloody cold here!
