Major busy in work at the mo', but came across some interesting bits in the work I'm doing:

However, some people would take issue with this pessimistic analysis, arguing that community ties are still strong in many localities and among groups united by ethnicity or culture, while newer forms of community are developing, such as the ‘virtual communities’ available online.

more about the point of individualistic society, people deciding to become more independent, but still clinging onto 'communities'

Yes goodness your struggles! I thought you were going to put them in your journal?
After leaving you lot, Stealth and I managed to completely miss the Holborn tube entrance, strode down streets for about 10 minutes (he walks waaaaay to fast!) until I stopped and asked a beggar for directions , made it to Euston, trains only went to Watford, managed to get a coach at 2am, got home by 3am!
I've heard talk elsewhere that you kept people up by talking in your sleep!

I think you must have had the same kind of trip getting home as I did getting there.
Getting back was peacefull, didn't get back until 1am monday morning 
very odd.
I always find that all the lovly women are never available, I think I'll stick to my Teru anyway.

and then I was more confused, but now things seem to be clearing. I'd read a bit of your journal, and thought Teru was the overseas 'friend' you mentioned. 
However, I now know that I should never bother trying to search TeruTeruBozu
Where's yer photos then? Nobody's got any out yet 
And I forgot to say thanks just for being such a lovely guy on Saturday , I'd been nervous and may have ended up just staying at one table all night if I hadn't met you and come over and nattered
