Red (and a bit grey) Dog

Greetings from the LAST CONTINENT as well. So you're also from the Land of the Mighty Eagles - I'm a fellow Perthie by JINGO and I'm sure you'll has as much fun on h2g2 as I have had. If you're WYRD you'll fit in just fine around here.

If you look hard you'll find Granny around here (she posts occasionally to my Food-in-Film-Titles game - feel free to visit that it's fun). Don't thing I've ever seen a Nanny (unless you count the moderators in that category).

Best regards

Thankyou so much! Everyone is really friendly at h2g2. Broome? I used to live in Derby in primary school, we hated Broome, in that friendly competitive way school kids do smiley - smiley I think we were a little jealous perhaps that you had fast-food chain stores and we didn't!

I don't think there's enough room in Broome for him. But he's a BIG man in Derby hehe. Seriously though I do go along with his championing of tidal power. I work for W.P here, at least I do until the end of next year when they close this power station smiley - sadface

Hahaha, oh dear, poor Peter, he's a good bloke really, we just couldn't see past our prejudiced little minds in Primary school. I'm sorry about the power station closing. By the way, what do you think of that Broome book that has been receiving so much attention in the national press lately? I haven't had a chance to see what everyone is so angry about.

I haven't read the book myself, but it appears that the authors managed to p**s off a lot of locals by including what they(the locals)considered to be confidential information. You know what BBQ's are like, in vino veritas. They also seem to have infiltrated the hoi poloi(you know the mob that hang out at the mangrove and the turf/golf club scene)
