Aw sorry to hear about your mother in law it must be a big shock to you all. And it's gonna be really hard for your wife but at least you help each other through it.
I hope you are feeling better from the flu and it can knock you back a bit when you're not well so I hope you are taking it easy, things don't really seem to be going your way so a big to you and your family.

Hi Cheryl,
Yea its a bit sh*t at the mo, only just got on line, have been out sorting funeral stuff, the flu seems unimportant now, as i have had so much backing from the wife during my probs that i need to be there for hers now.
Just when things look on the up, life takes another swipe at you

Just been reading the other post about the rest of your relatives, they should be thinking about other things than material possesions! You and your wife shouldn't have to be putting up with all that right now.
I'm sure your wife is very grateful for all the help and support you are giving her right now. I know it's not much but time is a healer.
I hope things pick up for you and your family BK you've all been through so much.

Cheers Cheryl, it nice to have support from all on here.
And the relatives, do me a favour, what are they like, i cant believe that they are already hovering around, Maria's mum hasnt seen half of them for years, but they know there are lots of items of some worth around the house.
Maria and her brother and sister are sort of vulnerable at the mo, so it has been down to me to deal with most phone calls, and i am not too subtle

Whats_ina_name Posted Mar 19, 2006
Well I'm glad you're not being subtle, it's hard enough for your wife to deal with without all that.

Just read about the funeral sounds like a bit of a nightmare. It must have been really hard for you and your wife with the relatives behaving like that
I know it will take time but hopefully now you can all put it all behind you. A big
for you and your wife and kids.

I'm guessing it's been a rough time for you and your family with all that's happened though.
Yeah things are good today, yesterday we got stuck in a traffic jam for 4 hours. We only went to Chorely which is normally and hour and half drive from and it took over five and a half hours to get back home a lorry had caught fire on the motor way so they had to close 2 of the three lanes off so there was a tail back for about 15 miles! and we didn't realise till it was too late so got stuck in the middle of it all. We all ran to the toliets at the nearest service station when we got out of it
hehehe
I'm gonna have a nice relaxing evening with the hubby tonight coz my son is sleeping at his mates house tonight.

Traffic jams are a pain in the a..., the wife went to Bristol today with the boys to see her dad and got stuck in traffic on the M4 near Swindow for over 2 hours, so glad i stayed at home, nice quiet evening for me, as they arent coming back until tomorrow

Lol I'm back again, hope you enjoyed the take away if you got one, we ended up getting a chinese and a bottle of wine at the weekend
Cool at you going to the lakes soon sure if you let me know when you're going I'm sure we could try and sort something out, it would depend if hubby was working of course coz he is the only one that can drive anyway lol.
I just downloaded the new red hot chilli peppers song "dani california" for 79p I quite like it

Ahhhh, there you are
We are looking to get a train to Windermere and have a hire car booked for when we get there, as opposed to driving up there, we have our eye on a house just outside Ambleside, but not sure of the dates yet or even if the place is already booked.
Havent heard that song by them yet, is it a rocky one or another of their slow ones
Drums
Whats_ina_name Posted Apr 19, 2006
Ambleside is a lovely place , if you're getting the train just make sure there is no line work on during then. I know here there are buses on at the mo instead of trains coz they are ripping up one of the viaducts but I think it only effects trains out of Barrow till about July but it might be worth a check if it affects you in any way or if they are gonna be doing line work else where, they usually pick the worst time to do it
. Just so you know whether to expect delays and stuff.
It's quite a rocky tune it's been played on MTV quite alot lately. I don't think it has been released here yet but I did download it legally coz I paid. I didn't really rate the last album by the way coz they had quite a few slow songs on that one. But I do like the song by the way.

Hi ya BK, how things? Forgot to say as well speaking of holidays we are going to Bournemouth for two weeks in the summer on july 29th quite looking forward to it
Drums
Marmite Posted Apr 29, 2006
Bournemouth is lovely, you will have a great time there, is it a hotel or self catering, you must go across the ferry at Poole and visit Swanage, its a beautiful seaside resort and then Corfe Castle
Are you driving down there?
Drums
Whats_ina_name Posted May 1, 2006
We have been to Bournemouth before a few years ago plus the weather is usually better in the south lol. I have been to Poole when when we went last time, in fact we went to the dog racing there. And we also went cycling in the new forest at Bournemoth which was really nice so we're hoping to do that again. I haven't been to Swanage or Corfe castle but I take it that is close by then?
Yeah we will be driving there this time, just to give us a bit more freedom as well coz we will be able to get to more places. We went on the train last time but had to change a few times and thats not much fun when your lugging suitcases around and trains are always late lol!
