No it's pay as you go and you can even have different tariffs and stuff depending how often you top up with them. And you can buy texts bundles as well to save money, so it's not too bad, pic messages are 20p and as far as I know that is the cheapest of all networks. I try and stay away from monthly contract phones especially now as you have to sign up for 18 months usually.
How's your lads arm doing now after his accident?

Its still in a cast, they were supposed to re x-ray it last week, but forgot to send us the appointment card
So it will be x-rayed tomorrow and then they will put a full time cast on for about 2-3 months

I suppose that is just typical of the NHS forgetting to give him an appointment lol. It must have been a bad break for it to be in a cast that long. Will he need physio as well?

Marmite Posted Jun 27, 2006
Yep it was a horrific break, he also had wires inserted either side of the wrist to keep it in place.
Physio, for sure but not until the new cast comes off which will be about 4 weeks total we hope

Sounds really nasty, at least he is young so his bones should heal well and hopefully he isn't in too much pain.
How's you doing any way?

I'm doing good thanks, my son just changed schools on Monday and is really enjoying the new school. We had a few problems with his old one mainly coz it was crap but he seems really happy at the new one .

He enjoyed being off for about a week, then got bored, as all his friends that he plays with were at school.
The mother in law must have amassesd 40 years worth of trash
It is very important that your boy goes to a school that he enjoys, i remember my first school in London, i still had a slightly geordie accent and had the **** taken out of me, i dont even sound like a geordie now, total Londoner

Whats_ina_name Posted Jul 1, 2006
lol, my hubby is a geordie and he has lost his accent a bit now but I still hear it every now and again with certain words.
My son does seem to be enjoying this school more and I feel he's getting a better education

Lol I seem to keep missing you don't I. Well my grandad was a geordie Speaking of geordies we're going to Newcastle this weekend hopefully to visit some of James' family.
I had a brill weekend, we went to white scar caves and it was brill it's a big underground cavern with water falls and amazing rock formations which you wouldn't normally get to see. Some parts you nearly had to crawl through coz it was that low. At first I thought it was gonna be a bit claustrophobic but it was really cool
. Chris really loved it as well. I did take some piccies of some of it.
