I would be tickled pink if someone dreamt of me being a gigantic turtle, the fact that I was a grumpy one would make me laugh all the more

Well the turtle was bluish-green, detfinitely not pink!
Last night ... another theme again, the dream garden. My dream gardens are bigger and better ... fewer problems with boundaries. In my dream gardens I also have nice trees that sometimes grow very big very quick. But sometimes I have problems too. In last night's dream some of my star chestnut trees rotted. But then I saw that while the bottom was rotten, the top had sealed itself off with wound tissue and was forming new healthy roots so I could replant it. The base was very thick and broad, rather flat, like the stand of a lamp.
There were other star chestnuts in the dream garden that were growing quite well, though, quite tall. Some had big leaves, some small ones.
Real life subtext again: I do get plants that rot at the base and then cut the rotten part off, form wound tissue and generate new roots. It's still an iffy proposition if they'll survive, though. In dreams I often have immense trouble, as in *all* my Adenias rotting. In real life I'm managing to grow them more easily than in my dreams! So I still have the goal of successfully growing *dream* Adenias.

I have noticed in your dream gardens you get problems with over watering,
and also rotton bottoms,
if you dream about me reincarnated, I better have a pretty Opaki bottom, that is all I am saying

Okay ... let me try and get back to this. I dreamt last night of a kind of apocalypse ... the whole world went through a horrible trauma, civilisation collapse, leaving a post-apocalyptic world where lots of knowledge and technology was lost. But for me the problem in all of this was that I'd lost track of my parents. But I had a cell phone ... somehow it had survived; to the other people it was a 'mysterious device from the lost golden age', I just wanted to phone my folks! But didn't succeed.

Hi folks! I'll try and get back to this.
Last night:
My father was building a brick wall in his room, between the bed and the computer. I was surprised to realize how small the bricks were ... they were only a centimetre to a centimetre in half in height!
There were a bunch of people who were very very self-righteous, they were going into sort of trances and speaking in God's name but I knew they weren't divinely inspired at all; I was upset about that.
I was doing some weight training in my sleep again. As always in my dreams I had difficulty finding weight plates and loading them onto the dumbbell ... at one point I realized its shaft was made of lego bricks i.e. not sturdy at all ... but somehow I managed to load a hefty weight on and then had some very pleasant dream weight lifting.

Willem Posted Jan 4, 2013
I just realized that the bricks my dad used for building the wall was about the same size as lego bricks, except they were 'real' bricks.
I've been thinking of giving all my old Lego-sets to my nephew Christiaan.

Willem Posted Jan 8, 2013
Well ... my sister says Christiaan already has too many Lego's! I still would like to give him something.
Last night:
First dream I dreamt about my 'dream sketch book'. This is a wonderful book in which are the most amazing sketches and drawings, mostly black-and-white. In the dream I suddenly remembered about this book. I'd been working hard lately getting my art onto an art site, and in the dream I realized that I had somehow totally neglected the wonderful art in my sketch book! There was something of just about everything in it, including some cartoons and comics that were funny and very well drawn. And there were some colour paintings as well. I dreamt there were several strange paintings of birds and/or dinosaurs in poses with their wings raised in a strange way.
The other dream I can remember was about me going to the doctor because of a problem with my eyes! The eyes worked well but me left eye kept closing ... the eyelids just wouldn't open. And when I held them open with my hand my eye had difficulty adjusting to the light. I was afraid I'd lose the eye.
Other medical disasters I frequently experience in dreams include my teeth falling out!

Oh, I wish I could!
Last night ... dang myself, I just made brief notes, expecting that I certainly wouldn't forget what they referred to! But I did forget a lot. I only remember I had conversations with two old school friends. The one guy had grown a lion-like mane on his head and neck, and we spoke a lot of German. The girl was one I knew and liked and the conversation strayed to religion and I had to mention I wasn't a Christian any more, while she still was. She seemed to accept me in the dream...

How nice you are getting back to your dream journal.
I like how your "dream artwork" is showing up in dreams now!

Hello abbi! I'm also happy to be getting back to this.
Complicated dreams last night.
In one there was another kind of apocalyptic scenario. A volcanic eruption or something had thrown massive quantities of dust in the air. Or something else ... what worried me in the dream was that the dust could permanently alter the chemical constitutents of the atmosphere, wiping out all life. I think nitrogen was contained in the dust, having been removed from the atmosphere; I hoped in the dream that the nitrogen would again be released into the atmosphere from the dust ... if not it would be the end.
There was a dream about King Kong. It started with a picture of Kong, with strange scales or feathers covering him. Then it developed into a typical monster disaster movie, except strangely I wasn't afraid this time.
There was a dream where I was staying with people. They left food for me and I think someone else was there as well, my sister maybe; anyways there was food left on the stove, a fish dish that was very tasty (in real life I don't eat fish any more). I ended up eating all of it ... a very large amount. Then I slept and woke up very late the next day. I was ashamed for how much I ate and slept.

Last night's dreams weren't very exciting. In one I was working on a dream painting; I noticed at a point that I'd added so much paint around the middle that there was now a raised ridge on the canvas running from left to right.
I met with an old school friend; I think I also met with a financial adviser. Anyways we spoke of the value of my friend's farm; she said it wasn't very valuable as it was too small, only as big as a couple of town yards.

Aw damn again I can't remember much regarding the notes I made of last night's dreams! But here goes. I was in a shop to buy a drum kit. I spoke to an assistant. I (or we?) then came across a fragmentary rhino fossil, and I attempted to draw a reconstruction of it. It came out very amateurish ... an instance where in my dream my art ability is *worse* than in real life (while in other dreams it is often a lot *better*). My rhino picture had ridiculous long claws on its toes! But then I got a job illustrating an animated chalicothere movie! (Chalicotheres were relatives of horses and rhinos, and actually had long claws on their feet and 'hands'.)

Sounds like quite a movie.
I actually had a dream I remembered last night. I was broadcasting a radio programme in which I told jokes in Yiddish and played klezmer music. Not very exciting.

Hi Willem
I think I trump Dmitri on the not very interesting
I was cleaning a huge old fashioned bath and wondering if I could use bleach to clean it. The only vaguely interesting thing was that the bath had a small mosiac (bright blues and yellow) underneath the tap
