btw.. has there ever been an Entry on Tribute Bands?

not that I'm aware of...but there's SO many.

What is a Tributre Band? Something like The ABBA revival band?

I went to see a tribute band for the Eagles last night. They are called Talon and were very good. I know there is a Queen one called Mercury.. and there's one for Fleetwood Mac too. It's just a thought rattling about in my head. Might not come to much, yet.

Yes indeed. There's a Pink Floyd one, Bon Jovi, Stones to name a few. But I guess mimicry is the most sincerest form of flattery. Or something like that.

Oh, my knowledge of the Eagles extends to Hotel California

Hope it was good fun though, I can imagine it would be. I heard there's a good Toto tribute band as well. And a Chicago one. But I've only ever seen the Pink Floyd one, and that was ages ago in Oz.

But Bon Jovi is still active, isn't he? Last I saw of him was in Ally McBeal, though.

Yes Bel.. Bon Jovi are still active. They toured over here (UK) last year.

That Australian Pink Floyd band are supposed to be top notch - they sold out a couple of shows well in advance when they played in St Louis back around Christmas. Heavily hyped on the radio, too.
