Proudwart, AKA Connorchap. Posted Mar 19, 2006
*Suddenly pops back in to preform a comedy routine but forgets all his lines and exits, closely followed by an airborne mass of tomatos and watermelons*

*Elwyn glides into the lab, halts dramatically so to flare her cloak of elegant silver and black colours then grins cheekily*
why, hullo there!

Thorn Posted Mar 19, 2006
*Enter the Gray Swordman's robotic butler, Edward*
"Master-Alex, he said I might be able to find him some help,-here."
The Lab
Thorn Posted Mar 19, 2006
[Ed]: "So, you see, he's this rich guy, perhaps you've heard of the Ferrous Foundation, downtown, in this city, as of late?"
The Lab
Thorn Posted Mar 20, 2006
[Edward]: "Master-Ferrous, has told me that-I am-ought to find someone, in here, this "League"-building, and-that-I-should tell-them, that he may need their-help. Was all."
*Very ambivalent sounding, for a robot.*
*Then it finally dawns to any onlookers, that the gesture the robot is doing, is an attempt at approximating shrugging*

Thorn Posted Mar 21, 2006
[Edward]: "It's highly classified, but you may also know him as the Gray Swordsman, so I suppose-I can tell you"
*Relates the plan to build a deep-sea, lab... but how the deep sea dwelling creatures, do not seem to like it much.*
: I saw something once like that on a "The Real Adventures of Johny Quest."

[Edward]: "You see, the drilling had accidentally uncovered some old used-reactor rods (that was a few weeks back), that were sealed in glass, but if it were discovered...by-the-wrong-hands, in short, if there is also some sort of mass, or thing?- lying dormant there, it might get awakened by the drilling, and then coupled by the radiation" =big mutant monster on the rampage.
*Grips a piece of chalk in its graspers and sketches out something kind of like Godzilla, smashing some buildings*
"He told the drilling crew to stop, but something happened to them, and they will no longer listen."
The Lab
Thorn Posted Mar 21, 2006
[Edward]: "I for one do not know. The search team who went out looking for them, has not been-heard back from either."
*Does that peculiar little robotic shrug again.*
The Lab
Proudwart, AKA Connorchap. Posted Mar 21, 2006
*Tlobti bounds in with a bug trapped in a jar in hand*
"In my opinion, the drilling crew has been struck deaf by an overdosage of decibles. Hearing aids are required! Do you have any lying about?"

[Edward]: "They were working, in pressurized deep-sea suits, since-it-is deep-below-the coastline, on an adjacent shelf below. It would have to be water-proof. If you show me-instructions on-how to-make one, I can learn-to make them; I-did help-to build-the Gray Swordsman's car,-afterall."
