h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Below is a copy of the Embassy's non-English-language Welcome message (translated into English) which is currently posted only in French, at http://www.h2g2.com/A480490 . If you are fluent in both English or French, and another language, and can translate, we would appreciate your help.

Please translate the two letters below into your own language, and post the translations in this thread (preferably with the same or similarly distinguishable punctuation and paragraphing, so that we who do not understand can still tell where to place the tags).

These letters will be posted in separate Embassy entries to let visitors know that they are welcome no matter what language they speak, and that we WILL be making a continuous effort to build the project up, and provide the linguistic support needed for the Guide.

It may not be perfect (Welsh is really my co-first language, but I let it fall into disuse), but any other Welsh speakers will understand it (and probably correct any mutations I've done wrong!)

Delete it! Why I wouldn't dream of it! I haven't seen it yet, but I'll be right over to the updated Embassy soon. This is an equal opportunity venture! As long as we may have unlimited numbers of entries, we may have unlimited numbers of languages!

Lady K here. I visited the Pub, and read the threads, and was just beginning to enjoy myself and trying to think of something to post when I was unceremoniously kicked off the net! I'll try again though!

It would be great if you could do the German page for us, and the German hello message as well if you like. Look forward to seeing it.

But it's done now, hopefully correct! I hope that pathew will return to our aid! I don't know of any other Welsh speakers yet!

I wish I could get right down to the linguistic stuff, but I really want to have the foundation built before I get into that! But as for those who aren't working on the original English page - if you like, please feel free to have a look at other projects we're proposing. If you want, I can post a thread for them so that they're all sort of in one place.
