I've got 2 "bob caps" but I've never really been into wearing caps(as there's nothing in there to keep warm)

I'm a hat person, myself. But I don't like baseball caps much.

Only hat I HAD to wear, was the plastic safety helmet when I worked in the chemical industry. Daft part is they are made to shatter on impact to dissipate the downward force of the objectYEAH! As if! a girder or something wouldn't kill me

I once bought a 2nd world war army helmet for 50p at a gala for disabled coal-miners and wore it at work

My dad explained helmets to me. He said you should never fasten the helmet to your head with a chin strap. If there was a mortar explosion, it could take your head off...

He knew what he was talking about. A mortar shell burst his eardrum in the Rhineland.

He said that's why they wore 'helmet liners'. So the helmet could come off without injuring them.
