I am a recent migrant to the South. I can't say that I am actually FROM anywhere; i spent the previous eight years in Los Angeles and have also lived in so many places that I don't remember where I'm getting homesick for...
I'm currently in Savannah Georgia, a city that will certainly inspire at least one Guide entry. This is one of the most remarkable cities in the country...and one of the strangest. It is a strange little time warp, for a variety of times (pick your century.)
I like living in the South and would like to meet other Guide researchers who are similarly located. We can go out for some low country boil and/or devil crab and barbecue with collards...
so can I possibly join your group? I don't have a Southern handle, but I just put down the first thing that came into my head.
So, are pets allowed in this Forum?
