The Fictional Jim Plates
You may wonder exactly who Jim Plates is, the answer is this, Jim Plates is an entirely fictional character who does not exist. This fact does not however affect his ability to function within the context of h2g2.
By the skill of being fictional, Jim has an almost limitless capacity for anything; not constrained by the bounds of reality. Therefore he expects to have many fictional adventures which are to be commented upon, augmented, but most importantly made up.
However due to limitless capacity for anything he cannot have any personality yet, as I haven't decided what he will do with it. If you have any idea what this fictional Jim Plates should do, or comments upon the freedom of fictionality, message away!

P.S. Some people think Jim is rather fawn-like, and compare him to the also fictional character Mr Tumnus. He is categorically NOT Mr Tumnus the fictional fawn from "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe" that popular children's book/T.V. Dramatisation/Christian allegory created by C.S. Lewis.
