Jumping
Posted Oct 25, 2000
Well, I jumped.
It was a little bit scary for a minute, but I seem to have landed on something soft .
Wriggles quite a bit, too .
All in all, one of my better decisions .

Jump, Don't Jump?

The moral of the story is:
Never jump to conclusions.
And if you must, just stop yourself from boring all your friends with the idiocy that results when you d.
It's been an interesting old week, really. Off work with the back again, and actually getting bored of it now .
Anyway, the week ends on a note of promise, and slight disapointment.
But I ain't gonna let that stop me from enjoying the future as it happens.

Funny Couple of Days

Well, the flooding wasn't serious and has dried out now.
The back pains are much better as well, thanks, I suspect, to a friend of mine who came round and taught me some yoga and gave me a shiatsu massage afterwards .
Did some yoga this morning and felt much better for it, and in some strange way, also felt connected to something that it far older than western civilization. Most excellent .
Had a good laugh at Mina who had her land-line cut off and had no pc! Disaster! Did the only decent thing and let her come round and use mine for a couple of hours whilst I took my afternoon nap .

Back Pains

Back much worse now
Went to see quack, and he has signed me off from work for a week-oh how that will please them, as I've just had a week's holiday...
He says it is pressure on the nerves at the base of my spine, so no sitting at desks for eight hours at a time as my job demands.
Having to use pc standing up.
Thankfully, the flatmate has work benches designed for just that purpose...
