Back much worse now 
Went to see quack, and he has signed me off from work for a week-oh how that will please them, as I've just had a week's holiday...
He says it is pressure on the nerves at the base of my spine, so no sitting at desks for eight hours at a time as my job demands.
Having to use pc standing up.
Thankfully, the flatmate has work benches designed for just that purpose...
