Life in a Goldfish Bowl

I increasingly feel like the majority of my life is lived under the close scrutiny of others, most of whom don't really know me at all.smiley - sadface
Ah well. Press on with it for the time being. Maybe I will feel differently later.

Maybe it's just paranoia, but just because you think everybody's out to get you doesn't mean that they aren't. smiley - sadface

Happyhappyjoyjoy

Well, if I was in any doubt as to the correctness of that decision I made some months ago, I'm not now.

Jumpers

Some poor s*d threw himself under the train I was trying to catch today, about fifteen yards away from me.
You have to be really desperate to do that...smiley - sadface
And not nice for the driver either.

New Years's Eve

Another top night out, even if I say so myself.
Mina and I went to the Electric Ballroom in Camden for a boogie, and we both danced to the point of physical breakdown-her feet, my knees. One of us had more to drink than the other, but decency forbids me revealing who. smiley - smiley
There were many, many drunk people, one of whom couldn't even mange to light his ciggie he was so gone, ha ha ha. Many people in wigs and seventies clothes as well, including an excellent cardigan which Mina didn't like at all.
Mina managed to order a pint of salt and vinegar crisps in the pub (before she'd been really drinking smiley - bigeyes!), and made a new years resolution, which she then broke within ten minutes...and I'm not going to tell you what it was, either. smiley - smiley
Home safely on the nightbus, thanks to the helpful and happy people of London transport, who get a special award for being cheerful in the face of many drunken idiots.
A happy and prosperous new year to all out readers, and may you gain whatever happiness you desire...smiley - smiley

Torture Gardens

What a great night out!
A really fun place full of people doing what they wanted how they wanted without anybody laughing or "offering them out" or anything else. Certainly, I've never felt so "at home" in a club before. smiley - smiley
Mina kept on wanting to visit the dungeon, and had a bit of a moan that I wouldn't let her tie me to something so she could whip me, but she got over that quickly enough.
Memeberships for Christmas and a return vivsit in the New Year are called for I think...
