She dyed it... or at least that's the last report I heard.... I recently cut mine... it looks cool It's weird going from nearly waist length hair to pixy cut short with two pieces framing my face in the front... (they come down past my shoulders, but they're tapered to a point). But I'm happy with my hair, much easier to take care of!

I'm very much a long haired gal myself - I think its easier to take care of cos you can avoid a haircut for six months without anyone noticing. And, for the best all day office to sexpot hair combo, after your morning bath/shower, just twist into a bun while still wet, (a smart simple look for the days toil). Then, let your hair down into a mass of just washed tumbling curls that smell and look ace. Piece of P**s. Perfect.

I dyed it.
In fact it is less scary-hairy than it was. The colour it went did me no favours, but after a couple of weeks using shampoos which do NOT say 'for coloured or chemically treated hair' it is reverting to something I can cope with. And maybe I am now habituated.
Anyway, I can always dye it again!
Pink, perhaps?

Anything but pink! Purple is a lovely shade... nearly killed my parents when I came back from Germany with that color.... hehe
As for the long hair... Mine was always a hassel to deal with when wet, even more of a hassel when dry, and never seemed to cooperate, except for right before I was going into the shower... always looked great then, but when I didn't wash it, it always looked like garbage after an hour after the shower... I did used to braid it and everything... but I've found short hair to be much much easier for me to deal with. Instead if fighting tangles, and such, trying to get my hair to look okay, I blow dry, do a smidge of shapping and I'm done... I'm happy with it now.

Having had both, shorter IS much easier.
It nearly went purple, but for once in my life I actually did do a strand-test and bought a diferent colour!

Drastic cut- know the feeling.
I used to swear blind when I was small that I wouldn't have my hair cut, not even when I was 12. (That being the peak of maturity to small children.) So I did it at 15 instead... it was a bit breezy. I had really stupid pointless hair which refused to do anything exciting, just lolled about all brown... even ringlets (rags and all!) only stayed for half a day. It looks much much better like this, and I don't even have to touch it.
Another thing I hated was that when I was ickle everyone wanted to brush it, which was grim. Have they no lives?
BTW, when it says on your weird-colour hair dye jar 'Do not use on peroxide-treated areas' because it stays forever, THIS IS A LIE. I wanted the green to stay in for good but it still washes out after 4 days.
Ben, here's a charming bejewelled turban...

Hi girls.
I did the drastic short haircut at age fifteenish too. i developed a strange style of short back, sides, top, with a mop of fring covering most of my forehead, eyes and nose. Guess I was maybe a bit shy in the madolescent years. Now its all long and flowy again, mostly due to inaction more than owt else. I've never really liked going to the hairdressers you see...
Hmmm. (Reconsiders outfit)
I'm going to a festival this weekend, and will be wearing bootcut diamante trim jeans and a tiny multicolour mesh vest type thing. I feel a change of undies may be in order... Something like a silver space bra and g-string combo. Got anything along those lines Mandragora??

Oh yes! Sounds perfect.
34C for the bra, size 12 pants please.
Scurries to the changing room, dazzled by the shininess of the underwear.

(still reeling from first professional stallholding)
Wow, that makes us size-twins... won't have to make any new patterns.

handy!
I did actually make a silver bra top thing IRL, and wore it successfully to the festival. (By successfully, i mean it got the right kind of looks - and my boobs didn't fall out.) I was particularly pleased with the silver chain halterneck strap, and the cross your heart silver clasp which opens and closes with a rather satisfying 'clunk-clik.'
Now I'm just seeking another opportunity to wear a silver bra top... Any suggestions?

Here's a good excuse to wear it again, you want to! No need to explain yourself, just wear it for the sake of wearing it... do yard work in it, go shopping, lay around the house watching TV, sit at the computer and socialize with the rest of us on here. Whatever you want to do, do it with your silver bra top

Power to the silver bra top! etc.
Making self new corset, in between making those for customers: front-lacing model in violet satin (wanted Cadbury's purple, but it was unavailable)with green stitching and embroidery, with black chiffon flounce edging, black satin ribbon trim and black and gold satin applique nightshade flowers round the edges.
Ohhhh, the joy. And fancy skirt to go with it.

Sounds pretty I wish I could manage to make something I'd be proud of wear... I haven't even managed to make the skirt I bought the pattern for half a year ago.
